No. The Intro to Texture Pre-Apprenticeship is a grant-funded workforce development program. There is no tuition for accepted participants.

No prior experience is required. The Pre-Apprenticeship is designed as an on-ramp for those new to the industry.
What is the time commitment?+
Approximately 165 hours total, delivered as weekday virtual learning plus Saturday in-person hands-on labs over the cohort period.
What happens after I complete the program?+
Graduates are positioned to pursue our Registered Apprenticeship, continue advanced textured hair education, and step onto the Certified Texture Specialist pathway.
Space is limited. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis and placement is based on cohort availability.
